-
The virginia State Government Granted AMAC an "Outstanding Achievement Award" for developing a High RF Input Power Window Project for DOE in 2001.
AMAC has developed a novel window technology (better vacuum, less electron Multipacting, and less thermal stress) that is more advanced than previous window designs.
-
AMAC has been developing a reliable, low cost, high power input coupler for TESLA project, which is led by DESY in Germany.
An "Outstanding Achievement Award" was granted by the Virginia State Government to AMAC for developing the High RF Power Coupler Project for DOE in 2002.
-
AMAC has investigated and demonstrated for the first time in the world an innovative Energy Efficient Cryogenic Transfer Line wiht Magnetic Suspension for NASA's cryogenic systems. This innovative technology offers the potential advantage of extending missions, saving cryogens, and reducing the overal launch mass to a space shuttle.
An "Outstanding Achievement Award" was granted by Virginia State Government to AMAC for its excellent performance in the Magnetic Levitation Cryogenic Transfer-lines Project for NASA in 2002.
