Cryogenics In-space:
Mag Lev Cryogenic Transfer Line

ĦĦĦĦ NEWPORT NEWS, VA. -- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has awarded AMAC International, a high-tech company located in Newport News, a $70,000 SBIR Phase I research grant to develop, "Energy Efficient Cryogenic Transfer Line with Magnetic Suspension." This Technology will be used in space and eventually utilized on Mars. Our success in Phase I will pave a solid ground for AMAC to obtain a $600,000 grant for a Phase II project development. This is a proud accomplishment for AMAC, as it is our first NASA SBIR award.
