The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has also awarded AMAC International, Inc. an STTR PHASE I grant for $100,000 to develop innovative, cost effective high power Radio Frequency (RF) Input Coupler technology. RF high power coupler is a comprehensive technical system, which integrates the RF window, wave-guide, antenna and mechanical transitions together to bring high RF power from the RF power source through the cryostat and into the superconducting cavities. If we successfully complete the STTR phase I, AMAC could potentially win an STTR Phase II award from DOE to total $500,000.
